OSP Field Inspector (North Central Idaho)

Job Summary
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience inspecting OSP (outside plant construction) and must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
- Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code, and previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew is preferred.
- Previous experience performing pole ground line inspections.
- Inspecting quality and recording field records âincluding review of OTDR results and As-built drawings.
- Experience with GPS Data Collection.
- Knowledge of As-Builts, redlines and project inspection guidelines.
- Knowledge/Understanding of Fiber and Splicing Maps. Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in OSP installations, inspections, and maintenance.
- Experienced in construction practices of aerial (communications & power make ready, attachments, etc.) Aerial pole analysis
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to OSP installations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Note: Flexibility and a willingness to step outside of the defined role at times is essential in this position.
