Job Summary
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review and qualify RFP/bid documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Lead Go/No-Go reviews for construction projects, ensuring clear internal roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Design and Business Development teams to develop drawings, investigate codes/regulations, and define project scope.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and subcontractor qualification meetings as required.
- Develop comprehensive scopes of work, project estimates, budgets, and schedules (MS Project).
- Solicit, evaluate, and qualify vendor and subcontractor proposals;obtain hard cost pricing.
- Generate and manage RFIs (customer and subcontractor) to clarify project requirements.
- Identify cost-efficient bidding strategies and value-added solutions to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
- Assemble complete technical packages for proposal submission. This will require using a sophisticated Excel Templete to ultimately develop the construction bid package and proposal. This role requires strong construction knowledge, estimating expertise utilizing Excel, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver accurate, competitive, and profitable bids.
