OSP Field Inspector (Northern Idaho)

Job Summary

Qualifications:
Previous experience inspecting OSP (outside plant construction) and must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code, and previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew is preferred.
Previous experience performing pole ground line inspections.
Inspecting quality and recording field records âincluding review of OTDR results and As-built drawings.
Experience with GPS Data Collection.
Knowledge of As-Builts, redlines and project inspection guidelines.
Knowledge/Understanding of Fiber and Splicing Maps. Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in OSP installations, inspections, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experienced in construction practices of aerial (communications & power make ready, attachments, etc.) Aerial pole analysis
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to OSP installations.
Valid driver's license, clean MVR, and reliable transportation.
Note: Flexibility and a willingness to step outside of the defined role at times is essential in this position.
