Data Center / Headend Technicians - Level 3 or 4 Chicagoland. IL area

Job Summary: You will be leading and supervising a team that installs troubleshoots, upgrades, modifies, and performs preventive maintenance on ISP specific data centers and headend telecommunication sites throughout the Chicago, IL area. Role:

• You will be responsible for headend installation of routers, CMTS (cable modem termination system) and other broadband equipment for telecommunication companies.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
• Perform RF wiring with RG59 HEC, Mini RF, Cat 5/6, Fiber Jumpers and associated connectors, between active and passive devices.
• Test and label all cables according to the Customer’s specifications.
• Install racks, set rails, and cable trays.
• Travel will is required between localized area sites.
• 3+ years of experience in data centers, headend, or central office environments
