The Role: The Sr. Technical Project Manager is the single point of contact for non-routine to moderately complex installation projects for communication networks. The position reports to the Manager Federal Programs and is an integral part of the Government Programs Project Management Office (GPPMO). The Sr. Technical Project Manager works with a team of Technical Project Managers and Coordinator Technical Projects staff and is accountable for meeting contractual performance criteria and due dates during service delivery, and successful overall project completion. The Main Responsibilities: * Coordinate activities in support of program managers and teams that support the design, installation and maintenance of services * Track and monitor projects from initiation through completion * Prepare deliverables (e.g., status reports to Government, order information, open issues) * Analyze contracts, product and service descriptions, and network technical requirements to identify parameters required to initiate service order processing and project implementation * Work directly with Government representatives, engineers and program manager to develop scope of work, timeline, communication plan and all pertinent aspect…
