Traffic Control Planning Manager

Job Summary
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support the Traffic Control Planning team in a remote work environment
- Develop and produce traffic control plans for utility, telecommunications, and infrastructure projects
- Review and perform quality control checks on TCPs to ensure compliance with state and local agency requirements
- Provide guidance, training, and technical support to team members
- Coordinate with project managers, field teams, municipalities, and clients regarding traffic control requirements and approvals
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines
- Maintain knowledge of current traffic control standards, regulations, and permitting requirements
- Assist with process improvements, workflow management, and team development initiatives Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in traffic control planning, traffic management, or related field
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in traffic control plan development and drafting software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a remote setting Required Certifications Candidates must possess one or more of the following Washington State certifications:
- TCDS (Traffic Control Design Specialist)
- TCS (Traffic Control Supervisor) Pay to commensurate with experience starting at $35/hr
