Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide health and safety programs
- Create and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training initiatives
- Lead efforts to build a proactive safety culture across field and office operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
- Conduct field audits, job-site inspections, and risk assessments
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses while implementing corrective actions
- Maintain and update Safety Manuals, Employee Handbooks, and safety documentation
- Deliver safety training and presentations for employees and leadership teams
- Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reporting
- Support workersâcompensation and auto insurance claims management and renewals
- Partner with operations leadership to identify and reduce workplace hazards
- Standardize safety practices across multiple office and field locations Expectations:
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence both field and executive teams
- Ability to travel throughout the Carolinas and surrounding regions
- Comfortable working in fast-paced telecom construction and infrastructure environments

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar leadership role
- Background supporting telecom, utility, OSP, fiber, or infrastructure construction environments
- Strong understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations
- Experience creating and implementing safety programs and procedures
- Ability to analyze safety data and generate reporting metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities Preferred
- Bachelorâs degree in Safety Management or related field
- CSP, CHST, OSHA certifications, or other relevant safety credentials
- Experience supporting multi-location operations
